Projects in Pesaro Coming to Life
In 2024, as the city came into the spotlight as the Capital of Culture, Renco undertook several fascinating projects. Check out some of the exciting projects underway!
Renco Suite Hotel
Our Stay Fancy brand is expanding into our hometown with the addition of a new eco-hotel. Renco began work on the redevelopment of the Renco Suite Hotel in Pesaro this year with the objective of transforming the building into a sustainable tourism destination. Once the redevelopment works are complete this hotel will come under the portfolio of the Stay Fancy Brand Renco chain of boutique luxury hotels.
Integrated with innovative sustainable technologies that make the building energy-efficient and earthquake-resistant, the materials selected for its design are fully aligned with green standards. The hotel will be unlike any other in the region, offering visitors a fully sustainable experience, positioning Pesaro on the map as a destination for eco-conscious travellers.
Calata 52 Apartments
Over at the beautiful seaside of Pesaro, Renco has also begun development this year on a stunning apartment complex situated at the Port of Pesaro, just 30 metres from the sea line.
Here, a two-tower complex spanning 3,700 square meters will be built, with the lower ground floors designed for local amenities such as shops and offices.
Thanks to a sustainable design focused on quality and environmental compatibility, the buildings will be designated with an Energetic Class A rating. Several key environmental standards have been adhered to, including the use of low-emissivity glass to reduce emissions and photovoltaic systems.
GREEN BUILDINGS
Materials were selected in compliance with CAMM standards. While acoustic insulation in all the internal walls guarantees comfort on an acoustic level, ensuring maximum privacy, and on a thermo-hydrometric level. The towers are set to be completed by September 2026.
Mosaic tiles of the Duomo
One of the most iconic landmarks in Pesaro is the beautiful San Francesco di Sales Church, situated in the heart of the city. This year, to celebrate Pesaro as the Capital of Culture and the upcoming 2025 Jubilee, Renco was excited to collaborate with the Scavolini Foundation to enhance the mosaic tile floors of this iconic church.
The intervention included enlarging the existing glass tiles in the central nave, replacing the current opaque glass covering the tiles, and installing a new lighting system. After months of restoring the mosaics to their original beauty, they are now on display.
