The Italian Ambassador in Kazakhstan, Mr. Stefano Ravagnan, commended Renco on its professionalism and hard work carried out for the 2017 Expo in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan.
Mr. Stefano Ravagnan, who personally overlooked the work carried out for the realization of the Italian stand, expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the efforts made by our company for this project.
For 3 months from 10 June until 10 September 2017, Italy was represented at the 2017 Expo which was based on the theme “Energy of the Future”. Renco created a stand that was 900m2, one of the biggest stands of the entire Expo, which was designed and completed by Renco, after it won the tender on 16 March 2017. It was quite a challenge since Renco, apart from the tight timeframe and complexity of the project, was officially assigned this tender only 3 months from the official ribbon cutting ceremony.
In fact, Renco was responsible for the working activities relative to the Italian stand, the setting up of the exposition in which the sophisticated audio and visual content related to the theme “Italy – history and ingenuity as the resources for sustainable energy and lowering the polluting emissions”. The visitors where offered an itinerary, through an elliptical structure with two levels, which enabled them to discover the particular and positive aspects of our nation, a nation that increases the energetic efficiency and promotes new alternative resources.
For 12 weeks the technical experts from Renco Italy and Renco Kazakhstan, together with a hi-tech partner who took care of the finer details audio and visual, created a memorable exhibition for an approximate 5 million visitors that were expected from the organisers of the 2017 Expo. Renco provided entirely the technical support throughout the duration of the exhibition until the dismantling of the structure upon closure of the 2017 Expo.
The President of the Renco Group, Mr. Giovanni Gasparini, commented that he was confident from the start that Renco would have completed the project successfully, in favour of our country, for an event that caught global attention since the theme was Energy, as a company, Renco is very cautious and pays attention to this topic.
