Renco is continuing to work in Mozambique. Rencotek, one of its subsidiaries in the country, has obtained by Eni the EPC for new social projects in the city of Pemba, within the Coral South FLNG project. The aforementioned facilities are part of the social responsibility of Mozambique Rovuma Venture, a company formed by ENI and its partners such as ExxonMobil, Galp, CNPC, Kogas and ENH.
Works will involve the construction and handover of a kindergarten to the public authorities of Pemba, the renovation of the only public nursery school in Pemba City, and the construction of a multi-sports field to serve the Pemba Technical and Commercial Institute. Renco will carry out the projects mostly with local resources The handover is expected by the end of 2022.
