The entire complex, strategically located in Matera’s historical centre, was designed and built to blend into the landscape without contaminating its historical significance. Equipped with the best comforts, it features a fine 17th-century facade and an enchanting winter garden inside. The six floors have 40 large, comfortable and exclusive bedrooms that look onto the stunning and unrivalled skyline of the “city of the Stones”.

On the ground floor, visitors are welcomed in a scenic hall that turns into a meeting place for the numerous film crews that often shoot in the city, a valid alternative to Rome’s Cinecittà.
